Purpose: In order to identify individuals presenting with an lateral epicondylalgia who respond favorably to mobilization with movement and exercise interventions.

Stage of CPR Development: Derivation.

Tests:

  1. Age < 49 years-old
  2. Affected side pain-free grip > 112 Newtons (25.2 lbs)
  3. Unaffected side pain-free grip < 335 Newtons (75.3 lbs)
  4. Change in pain > 25% following Mobilization with Movement

Interpretation:

Variables Sensitivity Specificity +LR Probability of Success
3 0.08 1.00 100%
2 0.57 0.85 3.70 93%
1 0.98 0.46 1.80 87%
